Mark Thomas’s journey epitomises versatility and expertise. After serving in the Australian Army’s Corp of RAEME as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Mark transitioned through various mechanical and leadership roles across industries. His career trajectory culminated in becoming a Trade Instructor in 2011.
Teaching Excellence in Defence
As a civilian contractor to defence, Mark’s role as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Instructor at Vehicle Technology Wing, Latchford Barracks, Bonegilla, showcased his mastery of hydraulic systems, fuel systems, drivelines, and engines. He excelled not only in teaching technical skills but also in curriculum development, shaping future generations of trade professionals.

Transitioning with Ironside Resources
Upon connecting with Ironside Resources, Mark expressed his readiness to transition from Tallangatta, VIC, to Perth to pursue opportunities in the mining industry. With our support, Mark seamlessly transitioned into a Pre Trade Trainer role with Westrac in April 2022.
