Macmahon has partnered with Ironside as they are seeking applications from ADF veterans with trade qualifications who are wanting a career in mining. We have a range of opportunities across their business in both Western Australia and Queensland.
Join your veteran peers who have already kick started their career with Macmahon this year to go directly into one of the various positions or upgrade training programs and find your new mining role.
Permanent Roles Available:
- Auto Electricians, Boilermakers, Electricians, Tyre Fitters and Heavy Diesel Mechanics – Qld and WA site based, great rosters.
- Component rebuilders – Perth based – home every night, no trade required.
Nationally Accredited Qualification Training Programs:
- Trade Upgrade: HRT qualified to HD Mechanic’s in less than 6 months and then permanent HD Mechanic roles.

As part of the recruitment process for the role, you will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including a laboratory drug and alcohol screen and criminal history and qualification checks. Additionally, you will have to provide proof of working rights in Australia eg: a copy of a valid Australian passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate or current visa grant notification.
